What We Do
Everything we do in our Student Ministry has one goal and that is to bring students closer to God and we do this in three ways.
Family Hour

When: Wednesday's (follows school schedule)
Fellowship starts 6:30pm followed by Devotional from 7:00-8:30pm
Where: 3rd Floor Youth-Wing
Family Hour meets on Wednesday nights during the school year. The high school and middle school grades meet together at 6:30 pm in the new youth wing. Family hour starts out snacks and music videos. Then the group each week does a topical study that is presented by a lead teacher. The topics are chosen based on what current teenage societal issues and helps are needed. The group is then broken up into smaller groups in order for more in depth discussion to occur. Family hour ends at 8 pm. Normal schedule runs from August through November and January through April.
Sunday School
Sunday school meets at 9:15 am every Sunday morning. Both the high school and middle school classes meet in the new youth wing on the 3rd floor. Sunday school is our best opportunity for teaching with the best student to teacher ratio. Both classes involve core Biblical teaching and discussion. Sunday school meets all year round. The high school class is currently taught by Rob Johnson, the student minister at the church. The middle school class is currently taught by Paul Najmon, the children’s minister at the church.
Bible Study
On Sunday nights at 6 pm the middle and high school groups meet for an intense Bible study. This class meets on the 3rd floor in the new youth wing in the high school Sunday school class. Over the next few years the goal of the group is to have done at least an overview of every book in the Bible. The group just recently started its study and it’s never to late to join. The group meets all year round except for a short break during the summer.
